This is a breif overview of the Product File Download Account service.
Product Download Account
Once you subscribe to a supplier, you will have access to all of the data files that we provide. The data files are updated daily and are pre-formatted for a variety of platforms and uses.
This service allows you to access and manually download product information for your supplier(s) in a variety of formats, enabling you to update your store's inventory simply by uploading these files onto your website.
Here is an overview of the types of formats we offer:
- Standard Data File
- Excel Spreadsheet
- The above 2 files are actually the "same" file. They are in the "CSV" file format, which stands for "Comma Separated Values". This is a standard spreadsheet containing all of the product fields for the client to use.
- Inventory Stores Import File
- This is a data file that is pre-formatted for import into the Inventory Stores website platform.
- Yahoo Store Database Upload
- This is a data file that is pre-formatted for import into a Yahoo Stores website. There is a tutorial for how to use this file and the associated image file that can be found on the "Guides & Tutorials" page.
- Oscommerce "Easy Populate" Import File
- This is a file that is pre-formatted for the "Easy Populate" module for Oscommerce. This module is what allows a user to import an entire spreadsheet of products and have the product information inserted/updated based on what is in the file.
- Ebay Turbolister Import File
- This is a file that is pre-formatted for the Ebay application called "Turbo Lister". This is an application that allows Ebay sellers to load multiple products at once to list on Ebay. It is the easiest way for sellers to manage a large amount of products on Ebay.
- One note on this file is that users will still need to enter the auction categories for their products in TurboLister. This is a necessary step unless the user upgrades to use a Custom Data File (see below), so we always suggest that Ebay users upgrade to use our custom file solution.
- Vendio SalesManager Pro Import File
- This is similar to the Turbo Lister application described above, but is specific for the Vendio company software. It works the same way as the Ebay files and has the same limitations, but it is used with the "Sales Manager Pro" application rather than Turbo Lister.
- Amazon Marketplace/Zshop Upload File
- This is a file that allows a seller to list all of the supplier's products for sale on Amazon.com. Amazon allows merchants to sell their products in an area called "Amazon Marketplace", so we provide files for this as well. There is a tutorial available for this file on the "Guides & Tutorials" page.
A client who subscribes to a supplier has access to all data file formats as well as a zip file of images for that supplier. The image names are included in the file and the zip file is pre-formatted to work with the website platforms.
The file download account costs $25 per month for your first supplier and $15 per month for additional suppliers and you can cancel at any time. We do not offer refunds for mid-month cancellations. |
