How To Correct X'd Out Box Where Image File Should Be |

We capture new images a few times a week for the Zip files and autoloading features. If we do not have the image or the supplier does not have the image, we do not reference an image in the product upload files. For any store that shows an X'd out images, it usually means that the "Images Required" is set to "true". This does not mean that a product will only appear when there is an image as some users might think. It means that an image will always be required for the products. This is what will create an image file name for the product but load a small x'd out box. This is a setting in the "Configuration -> Images" section of the admin, and if set to "true" then it will try to display an image for everything, even if one doesn't exist. There is the ability to have a picture applied when no other image is available, but this requires the platform to be customized. You can do this yourself or we can apply an image for all products without an image. It tends to be a two hour custom project at our standard project rate.
